The short version: these dates are read from school districts and can be wrong or out of date. The district is the authority, not this site.
What this site is
SchoolDates publishes school-year dates read by machine from the calendars school districts publish themselves. Every district page carries the address its dates were read from and the day they were read. The site is published by BiLingoPlus LLC.
What it is not
It is not the district, not affiliated with any district, and not an official source. District names appear here because the pages are about those districts; no endorsement is claimed or implied.
Accuracy, and what to do when we are wrong
Dates change. Boards amend calendars during the year, usually after weather closures, and we see the change on the next read. Districts sometimes publish a date that is itself a mistake. Our reading can misread. Before anything that costs money or leave, check the date against the district’s own page — every district page here links to the district’s website and, for 972 of the 997 districts on this site, to the district’s own calendar page, for exactly that reason.
We make no warranty that a date is correct, current or complete, and we are not liable for a booking, a missed shift or any other loss arising from relying on one. Where we have no date, the page says so rather than guessing; that is the strongest promise we can honestly make.
Using what is here
The dates themselves are facts and belong to no one. The way they are arranged, described and explained on these pages is ours. Quote a date, cite the page, link to it — all fine. Republishing pages wholesale is not.
Advertising
This site carries no advertising. There is no advertising network and no space set aside for one; the page views counted with Google Analytics 4 are read only as totals per page and are not used to sell or show advertising. If advertising is ever switched on, this paragraph is rewritten by the same switch that turns it on.
Law
BiLingoPlus LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, and these terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States.
